A study reported in Scientific American and tested on Stanford University college students, saw that ‘morning people’ who drank coffee throughout the day were more likely to wake up in the middle sleep than their late rival counterparts.
So what should you do if you want to brew up? Try to cut your coffee consumption before 2pm, or for those easily affected by stimulants, finish your intake just after lunch to avoid a restless night’s sleep.
