Whilst a small apartment can be frustrating and challenging, it can also be fun to be creative with the space you have.

1. Limit your colour palette. Yes bright colours are eye catching, but too many in a small space just makes it look cluttered.
2. Make the most of natural light and keep window fittings to a minimum.
3. Maximise storage space with floor to ceiling shelves and cupboards.
4. Trick the eye with mirrors and create double the space with one pane of glass.
